mimacom ag, the open source integrator, was founded in 1999 as a spin-off company of the Bern University of Applied Sciences. It currently employs around 70 members of staff, the majority of which are project managers, ScrumMasters, IT consultants and software engineers.

With mimacom path, mimacom offers an integrated total solution. From requirements engineering, to agile project execution, through to service management in accordance with ITIL, mimacom covers the entire software life cycle. From the very beginning, mimacom has focused on developing open source software and JEE/Java products. The company has a cutting edge, functionally sophisticated range of products, and a highly efficient and powerful development platform for agile software development.

mimacom ag has been ISO-9001:2008 certified since 2005, and has a differentiated quality assurance system for all core processes within the corporation (TQMi). CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) certification to Level 5 is currently being planned.

mimacom ag maintains strong partnerships with leading national and international software houses. The company also has committer status in important communities such as Spring, ICEfaces and Liferay. With offices in Bern, Zurich, Valencia, Stuttgart and Rome, the company is well represented on an international level, which provides it with additional expertise and close proximity to its customers.
