mimacom donates and supports different charity projects each year.

Christmas 2011
A hospital stay is a difficult situation for a child. Not only it loses regular contact with his family and friends, the child must also learn to cope with this unfamiliar and often very serious environment.
It is this exact situation which leads the Theodora Foundation to the idea of a “Hospital Clown”. Every performance is specially arranged to the child’s needs. To fully listen and respond to these needs, the Clown makes sure that the child gets his entire attention. This may allow the little patients to escape from the unsettling hospital life, and instead to find themselves in a world full of colour, fantasy and games; even if it lasts only for a moment.
mimacom would like to help enable these children this brief moment of happiness by donating 5000 CHF to the theodora foundation.
Christmas 2010
The project called Salariin Kampuchea teaches in several schools English to children regardless of their religious or financial situation. Four women, two of them are Swiss, started the project in 2003 and it had a largely success since then. We've supported "Salariin Kampuchea" with 5000 CHF.
Christmas 2009
We supported the charity organization Building a Future with 5000 Swiss Francs. This organizations helps children and youth in the municipality Barkly West in South Africa. With education programs in health and various group activities this charity tries to give the young people a better future.
With the amount from mimacom, the organization bought 150 new shoes for the children. Teachers and parents, which couldn't afford such a purchase, were able to watch the children smile as they went to school with their new shoes.
