As a Senior TypeScript Engineer, you are an all-rounder and embody the true meaning of the full-stack engineer. You feel comfortable building sophisticated and accessible web applications for our clients' digital products. At the same time, you excel at building back-ends in NodeJS, setting up new cloud infrastructure, maintaining CI/CD pipelines or working with the latest mono repo tech stack.

Your Profile

You feel comfortable in a team and take responsibility when others are still hesitant? You are practice-oriented and approach topics simply, even if not all ambiguities have been eliminated yet? The statement "because it has always been done this way" is no reason for you not to argue for alternative solutions? Perfect! Then, on the technical side you'll still need:

• Solid and several years of experience in JavaScript technologies and frameworks such as Typescript, React, Angular, Express or NodeJS

• Experience working with modern DevOps concepts such as Infrastructure as Code, Targeted Roll-outs or Zero-Downtime deployments

• Experience with technologies/concepts such as feature flags, logging, monitoring/APM/auditing, code quality analysis, event streaming and a very good understanding of modern application architectures based on HTTP/REST communication or GraphQL

• Experience in developing distributed software solutions with

• Cloud technologies and platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes)

• Fluency in German and English

Your Challenge

As Senior TypeScript Engineer you are a generalist with a strong focus on the entire JavaScript ecosystem. You see problems and solve them without getting distracted by labels like front-end, back-end or DevOps. Your responsibilities will include:

• End-to-end software engineering: requirements analysis and estimation, solution design and development, deployment, validation and verification testing

• Leadership and conceptual design: have comprehensive, conceptual overview and take the lead in the architecture topic

• High-quality environment: work according to agile best practices as well as developer conventions and maintain a DevOps culture

• Trusted partner: advisory role to teams, customers and other stakeholders

• Teamwork: self-organized, cross-functional, dedicated and agile teams
