We are excited to announce that Mimacom is now an official IBM Business Partner, and with it, a new set of capabilities we can bring to our clients. The partnership strengthens our ability to design and deliver solutions that need to operate reliably at scale, often across multiple systems, teams, and regions.
IBM is one of the most comprehensive enterprise technology providers in the world. IBM’s portfolio spans the core layers of modern enterprise architecture, including hybrid cloud, data platforms, AI, automation, integration, security, and observability. These are not isolated tools. They are designed to operate within large, interconnected environments where consistency, governance, and performance are critical.
Through this partnership, Mimacom can now work directly with technologies such as Red Hat OpenShift, HashiCorp Terraform, Vault, watsonx.data, watsonx.governance, watsonx.integration, Instana, and API Connect. IBM Bob, IBM’s AI coding assistant, also adds a layer of support to development workflows, particularly in environments where productivity and code quality must be balanced with control.
For clients, this expands what we can deliver in practice. It allows us to design architectures that are not only technically sound but also aligned with operational requirements such as compliance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
The partnership is already official and Mimacom active as a Silver Partner. IBM has established a key EMEA sales hub in Valencia, where our teams met early to align on priorities and opportunities. These conversations were focused on practical collaboration, rather than high-level positioning, and quickly moved into identifying where joint work can create immediate value.
From that starting point, collaboration has expanded across Spain, Switzerland, Germany, and the United States. Joint activities are already in planning, including campaigns, events, and webinars that focus on specific use cases and client challenges. The intention is to build a consistent approach across markets, while remaining close to local requirements and contexts.
Mimacom’s work in data streaming with Confluent and Apache Kafka® continues as before. The IBM partnership adds a broader platform context around that expertise, particularly in areas such as integration, data management, and observability. This creates a more complete environment in which streaming architectures can be designed and operated.
This is not a shift in direction, but an extension of our existing approach. We continue to work across a range of technologies and select the most appropriate tools for each client context. IBM solutions become part of that portfolio, used where they provide clear advantages and integrated into architectures that need to remain flexible over time.
The partnership reflects a shared understanding of how enterprise transformation works in practice. Technology choices need to support clear business outcomes, whether that involves improving system reliability, scaling data platforms, or enabling new AI-driven use cases. The focus is not on adopting platforms in isolation, but on how they are applied within a broader operating model.
IBM’s portfolio supports this across multiple layers, from infrastructure to data to AI. Combined with Mimacom’s experience in modern application development and platform engineering, this creates a stronger foundation for delivering solutions that are both technically robust and aligned with business priorities.
What comes next
The next phase of the partnership focuses on execution. Workshops, webinars, and joint events are already in preparation across our core markets, with a focus on practical use cases such as platform modernization, data architecture, and AI adoption. These activities are designed to connect strategy with implementation, giving clients a clear view of how these technologies can be applied.
At the same time, delivery teams are aligning on how to bring IBM technologies into ongoing and future projects. This includes defining patterns, approaches, and best practices that can be reused across engagements. If you want to explore how IBM technologies could fit within your organization, we are ready to start that conversation.
