Your Profile

Are you a team player, that communicates with precision and has an analytical mindset? Cool! On the technical side you’ll need:

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in creating test requirements, conducting tests (functional tests, regression tests) and documenting test results

• An ISTQB certification

• Deep knowledge in Software testing of Web applications

• Ideally some experience with IoT projects, especially regarding end2end testing of hardware, Bluetooth connectivity, web applications and native mobile apps

• Experience in setting up test automation with state-of-the-art UI testing frameworks

• Knowledge of different test strategies in agile software development

• Fluency in German and English

Your Challenge

As QA Engineer you advise our customers on the structure and organization of software tests and you are the first point of contact for testing and test results. Besides, you will be responsible for:

• Creating testcases based on the requirements and the user flow using a test management tool (e.g. QMetry, Zephyr etc.) in order to validate requirements regarding testability in collaboration with PO, DEV, ITC, Architects, etc.

• Managing the defects, validate Bugs and collaborate closely with the PO

• Manual Testing: You prepare, perform and document manual tests

• Automation: For the step-by-step expansion of automated testing for web applications and native apps you use state-of-the-art UI Testing Frameworks (such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Postman/ Jmeter, etc.)

• Reporting: Presenting test results and drawing conclusions for further activities in the project with regard to development and testing
