Cloud Solution Specialist (Cloud Foundry) (m/f/d)

Your challenge

• You will work with our development teams to implement best practices around topics such as CI/CD and infrastructure automation
• You advise and support the implementation in various Cloud Foundry specific projects:

• Deployment and operation of multiple Cloud Foundry environments in the public cloud or on-premises
• Customization, patching and automated building of stem cells used in the Cloud Foundry environment
• Design of robust and fail-safe Cloud Foundry deployments by extending and monitoring a monitoring system for relevant components of the Cloud Foundry control layer and identifying load producers
• Expansion and operation of the logging infrastructure, i.e. evaluation, introduction and scaling of adequate logging systems fed from the Cloud Foundry Loggregator

• You record customer requirements (technical consulting tasks and requirements management) and design a viable solution together with the customer
• You choose adequate tools and methods according to the situation
• You operate and maintain the Cloud Foundry platform that hundreds to thousands of developers rely on every day
• As part of the Platform Team, you will have the opportunity to help developers as a Solution Engineer to run their applications optimally in the Cloud environment.

Your profile

• Solid know-how regarding Linux system administration and networking
• Detailed knowledge (development and/or operational experience) in the respective components of the CF control layer, e.g. BOSH, Cloud Controller, Routing Layer, Loggregator
• Proven experience in operating and monitoring large Cloud Foundry landscapes
• Experience with the script languages Bash, Go, Python
• Good knowledge of at least one Continuous Integration tool: GitLab, AWS CodePipeline, Concourse, Bamboo, TeamCity or Jenkins
• Experience in building and operating multi-data center infrastructures for cloud-native applications
• Experience in building and managing delivery/deployment pipelines with Concourse
• Experience in software development with Java / JavaScript / TypeScript desired
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet or similar Configuration Management tools
• High communication skills and team spirit
• Fluent German and English skills
