Flowable again clinched Best in Show for the talk “The Case of the Intentional Process” given by Paul Holmes-Higgin (Chief Product Officer at Flowable) and Micha Kiener (Chief Technology Officer at Flowable) at this year's bpmNEXT , beating off fierce competition from other leading BPM and Intelligent Automation vendors, including Appian, Bonitasoft, Fujitsu, IBM, Kissflow, Red Hat, SAP and Trisotech.
bpmNEXT, which took place in Santa Barbara, California from April 15-17 and now in its 7th year has consistently been the defining launch pad for the ideas and innovations surrounding technology-led business process innovation. Presentations are not case studies of past successes, but vision statements. Every year, attendees are polled according to the following criteria: “Best In Show”, “Most Promising” and “Most Innovative"https://bpmnext.com/.
In their talk "The Case of the Intentional Process", Paul Holmes-Higgin and Micha Kiener described and demonstrated how using standards-based Case Management to manage process-driven chatbots had enabled our clients to provide intention-sensitive customer engagement. In simple words, chatbots could be smarter because they "knew" when they were appropriate for the user's needs.
This year's award as "Best in Show" is the third award in a row for Flowable. During Flowable's first participation in the 2017 conference, they were voted "Most promising" by the participants, followed by the first "Best in Show" award in 2018.
