Official Gazettes Portal

With the implementation of the Amtsplattportal project, mimacom creates a new portal for official publications which can be used at all federal levels. Data is delivered in a simple form and can be obtained in various formats.

The Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO, based in Bern, is part of the Federal Department of Economics, Education and Research. As the Confederation's center for economic and labor market policy, it is responsible for the regulatory and economic policy framework regarding sustainable economic growth.

Since 1883, SECO has published the "Swiss Trade Official Gazette" (SHAB), one of the most important economic publications in Switzerland. It publishes daily in four languages, 1200 - 1500 legally binding announcements with economically relevant, official information and legally prescribed announcements for trade, commerce, services and industry. In 2006, the electronic form was declared legally binding.

Since the existing application had reached the end of its life cycle despite constant further development, SECO launched a competition for the development of a portal for official notifications in 2015. At the same time, the websites of the SHAB and the Zurich Official Gazette had to be modernized.

Due to many years of expertise in the development of modern web portals and the digital transformation of business processes in companies and public administrations at municipal, cantonal and federal level, SECO decided to collaborate with mimacom's digitization experts.

mimacom developed and implemented an innovative publication platform for official, economically relevant announcements, which can be searched and retrieved intuitively:

  • Business analysis and requirements engineering
  • Improvement of user acceptance through the implementation of state-of-the-art operating concepts both for the data transmission of public and private reporting offices as well as for the use and evaluation of reports by consumers
  • Publications can be downloaded in three different formats: PDF, DOCX and XML
  • Compliance with legal guidelines and e-government standards
  • Realization of the project according to SCRUM and HERMES project management
  • Use of high-performance technologies and IT structures with 24/7 availability
