Front-End Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Your challenge

  • You take on the responsibility in the front-end for the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of high-quality software solutions. This includes, among other things:
  • Creating requirements analyses and estimates as well as elaborating different solution approaches
  • Performing deployment, validation and verification tests
  • Writing clean code for the development of functional software components
  • Participating in the architecture and design of the solutions
  • You work according to agile best practices methods as well as developer conventions and maintain a DevOps culture
  • You take on an advisory role for teams, customers and other stakeholders
  • Open Source trends and new, innovative technologies make your heart beat faster and you stay actively up to date

Your profile

  • Proactive, team-oriented, open-minded personality with a passion for Open Source, new technologies and agile software development
  • Years of experience in front-end software development
  • Solid basic knowledge of front-end core technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS (Saas / Less)
  • Very good knowledge of at least one modern web framework (React, Angular or Vue.js) including reactive programming
  • Experience with the implementation of responsive web designs using design systems / style guides
  • Good understanding of modern web application architectures based on HTTP / REST communication or GraphQL
  • Active use of standard development tools such as Git, NPM, Webpack, etc.
  • Good knowledge of test tools such as Karma, Jasmine, Jest, BrowserStack, Protractor or similar
  • Knowledge of modern front-end standards and concepts such as web components (like Stencil.js, Polymer), progressive web apps, accessibility, storage technologies, etc. are an advantage
  • Knowledge of or experience with mobile frameworks (Ionic, PhoneGap, React Native, etc.) is an advantage
  • Experience with agile methods (such as Scrum, SaFe) and requirements engineering techniques is desirable
  • A good sense of graphic design and UX is beneficial
  • Fluent German and English skills
