What You’ll Do

Do you have a passion for analyzing complex, data-driven challenges and generating new insights? As a Data Engineer (m/f/d), you will help our clients pave the way to modern data platforms and state-of-the-art architectures and technologies. Your responsibilities include:

  • Analysis & Architecture: Conduct requirements analysis and design architectures, including data architectures based on Data Vault, Hub-and-Spoke, Lambda, and Kappa.
  • Migration: Take ownership of and oversee the migration of existing data analytics solutions to the cloud.
  • Hands-on Engineering: Responsible for the implementation, optimization, and operation of data platforms.
  • Consulting: Advise our clients on data processing, cloud, and DevOps topics, and conduct PoCs, trainings, and workshops on-site

What you need

You work in a structured and analytical way with complex databases, handling large datasets with ease, and bring innovative solutions to the big data environment? Perfect! On the technical side, you should have:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Several years of hands-on experience in software development or data engineering
  • Solid knowledge of Python, relational databases, Pandas, Apache Spark, Git, and SQL
  • Understanding of data governance, data catalogs, and data quality
  • Experience with data platforms, data services, and data architectures
  • Experience in (real-time) data engineering with Kafka and building data pipelines
  • Experience designing data solutions on Azure, AWS, or other cloud providers (e.g., Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, AWS Redshift, Databricks, as well as Azure DevOps)
