Senior QA Automation Engineer (JavaScript/TypeScript & Playwright)

You’ll design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions that ensure long‑term quality and reliability across frontend applications and APIs. With a strong development mindset, you’ll help shape a sustainable automation strategy using modern JavaScript/TypeScript tooling. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests for frontend applications and APIs.
• Creating and scaling end‑to‑end tests using Playwright.
• Building automated test suites using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Designing sustainable, maintainable, and well‑structured automation solutions.
• Applying software engineering principles, design patterns, and architecture best practices to testing code.
• Analyzing test results and collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the overall testing strategy.
• Using AI tools to support test generation, maintenance, coverage analysis, and result interpretation.

We’re looking for someone with strong technical skills, an engineering mindset applied to testing, and a passion for building high‑quality automation. You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:

• Experience writing automated tests in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright for end‑to‑end testing.
• Experience creating and maintaining API tests.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and architecture.
• Experience designing sustainable, maintainable test suites.
• Experience using AI‑driven tools for test generation, maintenance, coverage analysis, or testing insights.

Nice to Have:

• Experience writing scenario tests in Java.
• Experience designing or maintaining testing frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
