Frontend Developer (HTML, CSS, SASS, Figma)

As a Frontend UI Developer, you will work closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product teams to transform design concepts into production-ready digital experiences. You will be responsible for ensuring design consistency, accessibility, responsiveness, and frontend quality across enterprise web platforms, while contributing to modern development practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

As a Frontend UI Developer, you play a key role in bringing digital experiences to life through clean, maintainable, and visually polished interfaces. Here's what that looks like:

• Translate Figma designs into high-quality, pixel-perfect user interfaces.
• Develop responsive and mobile-first web experiences that work seamlessly across devices and browsers.
• Build and maintain reusable frontend components using HTML, CSS, and modern styling methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to ensure design consistency and fidelity throughout implementation.
• Work alongside backend developers to integrate frontend solutions into enterprise web platforms.
• Apply accessibility standards (WCAG) and frontend best practices across all development activities.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvements in code quality, maintainability, and performance.
• Optimize web performance and enhance the overall user experience.

You combine strong frontend development expertise with an eye for design and usability. You enjoy collaborating with designers, care deeply about accessibility and user experience, and take pride in delivering polished digital products. You also bring:

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer, UI Developer, or Web Developer.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and SASS/SCSS or LESS.
• Experience implementing designs from Figma or similar design tools.
• Good understanding of CSS methodologies such as BEM, utility-first approaches, and Atomic Design (considered a plus).
• Experience developing responsive and mobile-first interfaces.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Basic to intermediate JavaScript and/or jQuery skills.
• Experience working with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering pixel-perfect user interfaces.
• Very good Spanish (min. C1) and English (min. C1).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Liferay DXP / Liferay Portal (7.x).
• Experience developing or customizing Fragments, Widget Templates, and ADTs (Application Display Templates).
• Knowledge of Freemarker within Liferay environments.
• Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Vite, Maven, or Gradle.
• Experience working with Design Systems and component libraries.
• Familiarity with Storybook.
