In the summer of 2022, Mimacom embarked on a major rebrand. As the lead on Content & Digital, it was my role to steer the website redesign, which is a project I’m immensely proud of. Mimacom has a young spirit with a distinctly Swiss character, so I wanted our content to reflect this culture and gain greater visibility.
Working on the website was incredibly rewarding because I could really make my mark. By bringing together my expertise in content marketing with the chance to learn lots of new skills – like diving deeper into technical marketing, managing a project team, and connecting all ends from development to design – I was able to own my career and evolve professionally. This is why I’d recommend Mimacom to anyone that’s looking to bring their ideas to life. It makes me think of the contrast between working here and my experience at school. As a teenager, I was often in detention for not doing homework. I didn’t see the sense in studying things I already understood; instead, I’d learn something new. Sure, I’d do well in exams, but I ended up in trouble for not following the rules!
Mimacom is the polar opposite. If you’ve got a good idea, a new way of thinking, or a different approach, you’re encouraged to try it out. You can work on the things that interest you. This makes the team really motivated and dynamic, with the sense of responsibility that comes with being granted so much autonomy.
